About Kenai Sportfishing

Kenai Sportfishing stands as the Kenai Peninsula’s premier guide and charter company. We operate a wide variety of fishing and outdoor experiences across the Kenai Peninsula. And we are so fortunate to have an amazing team of guides, captains, and staff that bring their 100% everyday. We operate a wide range of halibut trips in Homer, Alaska as well as guided salmon and trout fishing trips on the Kenai River and Kasilof River. Additionally, we operate bear viewing tours & fly-in fishing trips that depart out of Soldotna, Alaska.

Kenai Sportfishing is located in the vibrant city of Soldotna, Alaska and our Halibut operation is located in Homer, Alaska. Soldotna is centrally located on the Kenai Peninsula and the Kenai River runs right through the middle of town. This central location not only makes the Kenai River and Kasilof River incredibly easy to access but Homer, Seward, Whittier, and Cooper Landing are a short drive for day trips.

Soldotna is the largest metropolitan city on the Kenai Peninsula, and there are lots of activities to do in the area. So, if fishing is not your main goal, there is hiking, wildlife viewing, rafting, glacier tours, farmers markets, concerts in the local park, and much more.

For the most part, fishing in Alaska is something everyone can participate in. Certainly there are some very technical fishing opportunities to be had for seasoned anglers looking for a challenge. However, just about anyone can successful participate in our bear tours & fly-in fishing trips, our Homer halibut fishing trips, and our guided river trips for salmon.
