Just 10 miles south of the Kenai River, in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, lies the stunning glacier-fed Kasilof River. Our Kasilof River guided fishing trips provide a unique experience, suited for both experienced anglers and those new to the sport.

Best Time To Fish The Kenai River & The Kenai Peninsula

During the summer months from mid-May through September, Alaska becomes a prime fishing destination. At the peak of our summer, these waters are teeming with a variety of fish species. It is during these months that the best fishing experiences are offered. Different species of fish are all making their return to our waters at varying times. The mighty king salmon, sockeye salmon, the fall silver salmon, and the saltwater halibut can all be found in our waters throughout the summer. From mid-May to through September, no matter which dates you may choose, there is always something to catch. Our skilled guides, and staff can set up the optimum trip for you.
