Combo Kenai River Fishing Trips

Multiple Species, Majestic Views - One Epic Journey

On the Kenai Peninsula, the Kenai River, and the Kasilof River, and even in the Kachemak Bay, a unique fishing opportunity arises a few days each summer, born out of the millennia-old migratory patterns of various fish species. These species have adapted to share the watershed, timing their arrivals in a way that typically prevents overlap during their peak arrival periods. However, this staging is not perfect and there is brief overlaps throughout the fishing season. On a handfull of days each summer, when these schedules do intersect, we are able to offer combo Kenai River fishing trips.

These trips are special because they allow anglers to target multiple species in a single outing:

This is a rare opportunity, made possible only when the distinct migratory periods of these fish briefly overlap. It’s a chance to experience the best of the Kenai Peninsula’s fishing in a condensed, action-packed adventure.

Due to the specific timing required for these species to overlap, these combo fishing trips are available only on a limited number of days each summer. They offer a unique experience to anglers looking to maximize their catch and enjoy the diversity of the Kenai Peninsula’s fish populations.
